CORE STACKR / LEGAL
Privacy Policy
How we handle your information, website preferences and enquiries.
Last updated: 4 October 20261. Who we are
Core Stackr provides SEO, digital marketing, website design and software development services. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Core Stackr. We are responsible for personal information collected through this website and our own business enquiries.
For privacy questions or requests, email info@corestackr.com. Our physical business locations are:
- Canada, Toronto: 18 King St E. Suite #1400, Toronto, ON M5C 1C4, Canada.
- Canada, Burnaby: 5050 Kingsway, Unit #200, Burnaby, BC V5H 4H2, Canada.
- United Kingdom, London: 415 High St. Unit #613, First Floor, London, E15 4QZ, United Kingdom.
This policy covers our website and direct business communications. Where we handle information on a client’s behalf, the relevant client agreement and data-processing arrangements also apply.
2. Information we collect
- Enquiry information: the name, email address, company, website, industry, target locations, business stage, agency experience, budget, currency and additional context you choose to submit.
- Business communications: correspondence, proposals and information needed to discuss or deliver an agreed service.
- Technical information: our hosting and security providers may process IP addresses, browser information, requested URLs and security logs to deliver and protect the website.
- Website preferences: your selected colour palette, light or dark mode and motion preference are stored in your browser.
Please do not include passwords, payment-card details, health information or confidential information about your customers in the general contact form.
3. How and why we use information
- To review enquiries, respond to questions and prepare proposals.
- To communicate with clients and perform agreed services.
- To operate the website, remember preferences and prevent misuse.
- To maintain relevant business records, resolve disputes and meet applicable legal obligations.
Where UK or European data-protection law applies, the basis depends on the activity: taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract, complying with legal obligations, or our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and maintaining a secure website. Where consent is required, we will request it. Contact-form permission to respond to an enquiry is not permission to subscribe you to unrelated marketing.
4. Forms and service providers
Our enquiry form uses FormSubmit to process submissions, forward them to info@corestackr.com and send you an automatic acknowledgement with a copy of your submission. Its verification flow may use a spam check. Information submitted through that flow is also processed by the relevant provider under its privacy terms.
Website hosting, email and security providers process information needed to operate their services. The website is hosted by SiteGround. Fonts are served from our website, so loading them does not require a request to Google Fonts.
We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal rights. We do not sell contact-form enquiries. If you follow links to external websites or platforms, their own privacy policies apply.
5. Cookies, browser storage and measurement
The website stores display and motion preferences locally in your browser until you change them or clear site data. A temporary session value records the time of a form submission attempt so the return page can distinguish a recent attempt. It does not contain the enquiry text.
The current website records limited form-interaction events in the page’s in-memory event queue, such as a step being completed or a submission being attempted. The event code does not add form answers to that queue. Eligible events are sent to Google Analytics only when analytics is enabled under the regional preferences described below. Events generated while analytics is off are not replayed later.
Hosting, verification and linked third-party services may use their own necessary storage or cookies. You can manage browser storage in your browser settings. Google Analytics uses optional cookies when enabled. You can turn analytics off using the footer preferences; this removes the Google Analytics cookies that this site can access.
6. Retention and security
We retain enquiry information according to whether the enquiry is active, whether it develops into a client relationship, and whether records are needed for agreed services, accounting, legal obligations or disputes. We review information against those purposes rather than retaining every enquiry indefinitely. You can contact us to request deletion, subject to applicable obligations.
We use reasonable organisational and technical safeguards appropriate to the information involved. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. Browser preferences remain on your device until removed; provider records are also subject to the relevant provider’s retention arrangements.
7. International processing
We operate in Canada and the United Kingdom and serve clients internationally. Our service providers may process information in other countries. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, those requirements apply to the relevant processing arrangement. Contact us for information about providers and safeguards relevant to your enquiry or engagement.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access or correct your information, request deletion, restrict or object to processing, obtain a portable copy, or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. Some rights are subject to conditions or exceptions.
Email info@corestackr.com with your request. We may need information to verify your identity before responding.
You can also raise a concern with the relevant privacy regulator. In the UK, this is the Information Commissioner’s Office. In Canada, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the applicable provincial regulator. Other jurisdictions may provide additional rights and complaint routes.
9. Children’s information
This website is intended for business users, not children. Please contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information through our website so we can review and address it.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when our website, providers or practices change. The date above identifies the latest version. For questions about this policy, email info@corestackr.com or use our contact page.
Optional website analytics
We use Google Analytics to measure page visits and interactions such as contact clicks and form steps. For visitors identified in the UK, EU/EEA, Switzerland or Canada, analytics stays off until you choose to allow it. In other identified countries, basic analytics starts without a popup unless you have declined. If we cannot identify your country, basic analytics starts and a popup lets you keep it enabled or turn it off. We respect Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals. You can allow or decline analytics using Analytics preferences in the footer; declining does not prevent you from using the website or contacting us. Advertising storage, ad personalization and Google signals are disabled. Our custom events do not include the values you enter into contact fields.
Country detection for analytics preferences
Our server uses your connection’s IP address and a locally stored DB-IP country database to estimate your country. This lookup does not send your IP address to an external geolocation API or request your device’s precise location. The lookup code does not retain your IP address; ordinary hosting access logs may still record it as described above. IP-based location is approximate, particularly when using a VPN. We store your explicit analytics choice in your browser so we can remember it across pages and visits.
